The 49ers will enter Week 7 of the 2014 season with a 1-5 record and are one of the NFL’s biggest long shots to land a spot in the postseason. Kaepernick is coming off a 23-9 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, in which he struggled throwing the football but was sacked three times.
“We haven’t done a good enough job this year, and that’s not just me. That’s the whole team,” Kaepernick said. “We’ve got to do a better job. That’s one thing. We’ve got to play better. And there’s things we’re not doing well in that we’ve got to get better at.”
